About

Katie Mitchell, PhD Candidate, Registered Physiotherapist & Certified Athletic Therapist

I believe that optimizing how our brain and body work together may improve movement and performance. Combined with personalized goal-setting to achieve successful outcomes. Whether your goals include picking up your grandkids or lifting a new PR, our nervous system plays a vital role allowing us to move and thrive each day.

I am also a proud advocate for mental wellness. Through my own experiences, I hope to offer support. I’d like to share my story with those dealing with grief and post-traumatic stress.

As the founder of Thrive NeuroSport, I am passionate about educating and empowering individuals of all abilities to move well, feel good, and thrive on.

  • Balance and Vestibular rehabilitation,
  • Sensorimotor integration and training,
  • Hands-On Care: manual therapy, dry needling and acupuncture.
