I'm a Registered Physiotherapist and Certified Athletic Therapist CAT(C) working in Waterloo, Ontario, with a focus on sport-related concussion, vestibular-ocular conditions, and orthopaedic injuries. I provide athletic therapy coverage with the Waterloo County Rugby club and Sledge Hockey Team Ontario. I also have worked with national rugby and as a member of the medical team for the 2015 Parapan Am Games. Advanced training includes: integrated dry needling, concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, acupuncture, manual therapy, and sports first responder. Currently, I am a PhD candidate in the Kinesiology program at Wilfrid Laurier University with a focus on visuomotor function and the assessment of balance control for individuals with sport-related concussion. My goal is to provide evidence for objective measures of dynamic visual acuity and balance control and improve clinical decision-making for return to sport, work, school, and life! In my spare time, I enjoy trail walks with my Australian shepherd, mountain biking, camping, and exploring local.
